Our Mission & Vision

When you ask someone at First to list what is most important to us, they will likely tell you,

“We love to Worship, we focus on the Word,

and we want to give a warm Welcome.” 

These three words say what we want to do as a church.  We want to honor God as we worship Him on Sunday and every day of the week.  We want to base our lives and beliefs on the Bible and not on the human view of the world.  And, we want to let others know that the door to Christ is always open, even if the way is narrow.

 

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team is committed to the life of this church, which means they are committed to You.  God wants you to grow in your faith, and that means in your understanding of His desire for your way of life and your commitment to Him.  Our Pastors want to see you grow in your faith and be transformed in to His image.

Pastor Dennis , Lead Pastor

Also known as “Pastor D,” he is the one who gives guidance to our church in ministry and service as well as helping everyone understand the word of God.  One of the biggest compliments given to him was by a teenager who said, “I can always understand what you are talking about.”

 

Pastor Kyle, Pastor of Student Ministries

Pastor Kyle, along with his wife Bethany, have a passion for teenagers.  His greatest desire is to see teens understand the things of God.  He works for a balance between the fun things teens enjoy and the devotional and teaching teens need in order to grow in their faith.

 

Pastor Pedro, Hispanic Pastor

Pastor Pedro is a busy man as he works to lead our Worship in Spanish as well as serving in other congregations.  He does all this while attempting to start new churches for those who speak Spanish as a first language.  Everyone deserves to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Pedro wants to share it with you.
